Song and Dance Ministry

Rupert and his wife Kahealani struggled for many years with a drug addiction and lived a life with no real meaning and purpose. Saved by the grace of God they are now born again Christians who live with everlasting meaning and purpose.

Trusting in God and standing on His word, Rupert and Kahealani now know their meaning and purpose in life; living for the Lord and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.  They are determined to live a life led by the Holy Spirit to use the gift of song and dance to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Their song and dance ministry has already touched many lives.

God has called them to Him and has given them eternal meaning and purpose. Invite Rupert and Adele to your next gathering to share God’s love with powerful testimony and the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ through song and dance

Personal Testimony -

"I was only 12 years old when I began to use drugs.  It was marijuana at first, and then cocaine.  Then, in 1988 I began to smoke crystal meth or "Ice" on a daily basis.  Eventually I was spending every penny I earned on drugs and now I was in debt to drug dealers.  Nothing else really mattered to me except to get high.  I was evicted from my apartment, my music career was falling apart as I lost my band of five years. I began to believe that I was going to die from a drug overdose.  I tried to quit many times, but it had such a strong hold on me that I just couldn't do it on my own.

Then in January 1999 my wife and I prayed together for the first time and I asked God to help me.  A few days later my cousin offered to pay for me to get help.  Immediately I called a rehab center in Honolulu and filled out the necessary paperwork.  They informed me that once I was admitted I would be there for at least three months, which meant I would be away from my wife and children.  Reluctantly, I agreed to go.  Well, God had different plans for me, because two weeks went by, a month went by, and I never heard from the rehab center again!

In the meantime, I read the bible daily and I continued to pray.  I read and memorized scriptures.  My first, For nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37 and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.   Philippians 4:13, was where I began to trust in Him.  I stood on God's promises and He delivered me from a 10 year crystal meth addiction! Without a doubt God had healed me and delivered me by His mercy and grace!

It has been several years now since receiving Jesus into my life and being set free of drugs.  I now have a wonderful relationship with God, my wife and my children that I never had before.  I thank God that I'm not where I used to be and every day I do my best to draw closer and closer to Him because He is the reason why I live."
